Abstract
A cave situated in the Calanque area along the Mediterranean Sea was discovered by Henri Cosquer in 1985. Cosquer cave contained prehistoric cave paintings, dating back more than 27,000 years ago, which gave vital contributions to the knowledge of Paleolithic art.
